• Financial Statements (if available)

Family Registration Certificate (FRC)

• If married: include spouse & children
• If single: include parents & siblings

Other Documents

• Current status of all family members (e.g. children’s school names, spouse’s office details)
• Marriage Certificate (if Married)
• Parents’ full names and birthdates

• List of previous international travel (with entry/exit dates on a separate page)
• Details of any visa refusals (with refusal letters or reasons)

• Property ownership documents

• Original Letter of Invitation signed by the sponsor in Austria.
• Sponsor’s Passport Copy (photo page + valid residence permit if the sponsor is a non-Austrian citizen)
• Sponsor’s National Identity Document (Austrian national ID card if citizen)
• Sponsor’s Residence Proof (Meldezettel – official registration of residence or recent utility bill)
• Rental Contract or Property Ownership Documents
• Employment Proof: Work Contract (Dienstvertrag), Last 3 Salary Slips (Gehaltsabrechnungen)                 Or Business Proof (if self-employed): Company Registration (from WKO), Recent Tax Return .
• Sponsor’s Bank Statements (last 3 to 6 months).
• Relationship Proof (e.g., Family Registration Certificate from Pakistan with certified German or English        translation).
• Note: Without a formal Letter of Invitation accompanied by proper residence and financial documentation, sponsorship is not considered valid. Sponsorship does not remove the applicant’s obligation to present their own financial documents — both sponsor and applicant documents must be submitted. The Austrian embassy may also request further documents such as the sponsor’s tax notices, housing certificate, or proof of travel history.
